Raspberries

Raspberry canes are liable to drying out. Buy early, plant quickly, and keep the roots moist if you have to store - £10.00 per 10 / £6 per 5, except:

Octavia and Glen Magna @ £14.00 per 10 / £8 per 5;

Tullameen @ £12 per 10, £7.00 per 5.

 

Allgold

 

 Yellow autumn fruiting variety, similar fruit to A.Bliss slightly but sweeter.

Autumn Bliss

 

August onwards, heavy crop on new canes, good flavour; needs little support.

Glen Clova - Sold out

 

 Early, long season and occasional autumn crop. Good garden variety, but should not be grown with Malling Jewel or Malling Promise, to avoid virus problems.

Julia

 

Early, heavy crop, good quality and flavour, moderate vigour, plant 40 cms apart.

Glen Ample

 

 Mid. Heavy yields, large fruit, spine free, long cropping season.

Glen Magna

 

Late & long season, very large fruit and high yield; good flavour; few spines; vigorous. £14.00 per 10. £8.00 per 5
Glen Moy Early, large berries, good flavour, spineless canes, dislikes wet soils.
Glen Prosen Mid. Heavy yield, moderate vigour, good for jam and freezing.
Leo


Late. Orange-red berries of good flavour. Fairly heavy crops. Some resistance to aphids and blight.
Octavia Very late. Fills the gap before the autumn types;good quality. £14.00 per 10, £8.00 per 5

Tullameen
